LitXL provides managed tutoring services supported by online lesson tools, AI-assisted prep, tutor reporting and parent communications.

LitXL (ABN 81 911 988 261) operates this service in Australia.

• Parent or guardian details such as name, email address and phone number.
• Student details such as name, year level, subjects, learning needs and preferred availability.
• Account details such as name, email address and role.
• Tutor details such as name, email address, availability, teaching information, ABN and bank account details needed for manual tutor payments.
• Lesson and session information, including scheduled sessions, meeting links, lesson templates and reports.
• Student responses, uploaded files, AI help requests, progress information and tutor feedback.
• Billing-related identifiers from Stripe where parent payments are enabled. LitXL does not store raw card details.
• Email delivery information from email providers such as Resend.
• Technical information such as logs, device/browser information and platform activity where collected.

• Responding to tutoring requests.
• Matching students with suitable tutors.
• Creating and managing accounts.
• Scheduling and managing live tutoring sessions.

LitXL may use AI-supported features to provide hints, explanations and tutor-facing summaries. AI is used to support learning and tutor preparation. It does not replace the human tutor.

Where enabled, student lesson context, selected text, typed questions and responses may be processed by AI providers to deliver these features.

• Tutors can access information needed to teach assigned students.
• Administrators can access operational and service information needed to run LitXL.
• Service providers may process information for hosting, authentication, payments, email and AI features. Examples include Supabase, Stripe, Resend and OpenAI where enabled.
• Information may be disclosed where required by law or to protect legal rights and service safety.
• LitXL does not sell personal information.

Parents or guardians submit student information for tutoring purposes. Student information is used for tutoring, learning support, reporting and platform operations.

Parents can contact LitXL to ask about access, correction or deletion of student information where legally and operationally possible.

Parent payments may be handled by Stripe if enabled. LitXL does not store raw card details. Stripe may process payment details according to its own policies. Tutors may provide ABN, BSB and account details so LitXL administrators can prepare manual sole-trader payments.

LitXL uses reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information, including role-based access controls. No system is completely secure, and users should keep login details safe.

LitXL keeps information for as long as needed for tutoring, reporting, legal/accounting, dispute resolution and operational purposes. Parents may request deletion where legally and operationally possible.

Parents, students and tutors may contact LitXL to request access to or correction of personal information.

Some cloud, payment, email and AI providers may store or process information outside Australia. LitXL may use these providers to operate the tutoring platform.
